Shutting down

I am leaving the gaming community. Perhaps permanently. The reasons are personal. I was going to delete this blog but I decided to leave it online. Maybe gamers will garner some wisdom from what I have written.

I love your blog, don't delete it. You discovered old-school gaming about the same time I did last summer, and it was really interesting to read about your reflections on the hobby. Fare thee well...

Thank you for leaving your blog up. I was actually able to get some good ideas from it. :) Hope all is well with you.

I am very sorry to have stumbled on this blog late. I too live in Oak Ridge, practice sandbox gaming, and would love to meet new players. I even go so far as to sandbox my monsters; I feel published manuals are simply a guide. This helps keep the players on their toes because they don't really know what to expect, and helps me put monsters in the game you won't find in any manual.

I hope the day comes that you return to the gaming community. From what I've read - aside from the dismissal of Pathfinder - you and I are on the same page (e.g. sandbox, henchmen, distaste of 4e).

If you're ever in the mood to stop in with some older-but-not-old-timer gamers (I'm 36 this year and have been playing since 1990)look for us. We'd love to have you.
